I have just 1 basil plant on my porch and it has flowered. I just snipped it off, but I was wondering if there is anything you all do with them.

I pinch the flowers off too. I don't use them for anything except compost.

I snip the flowers off and add them to 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Heat the oil gently, and remove the flowers. What a great taste. Use the oil in salads, etc.

Save the flowers, let them air dry, add to potpourri.

I'd let it reseed. Can't have too much Basil. One herb that is good in just about everything.
