I have no knowledge of houseplants, so I really need y'all to help me.
We are remodeling our guest bathroom, and there is a small table with a lower shelf, where I have hand towels. I'd love to put a green growing real plant on top of the table, but the bathroom has no window, and will be in ambient (house) light most of the time.
Is there a "closet" plant that I can put on the table? The temperature will be house temp--60 to 80 degrees, and about 40% humidity.
If I can't put a plant there, I'll just stick something decorative on the table.

Peace Lilies are often referred to as a Closet Plant.

How about a very low light lucky bamboo plant(Dracaena sanderiana), not really a bamboo all it basically needs is water.

I have a snake plant and Devils Ivy in a pot that gets very little if any indirect sunlight and it is growing very well. All I have is a light fixture above it that gives off a decent amount of light.

A simple dome fixture over the plant with a good bulb or a small fluorescent fixture would let you grow a LOT of different plants if that is an option.
