Happy Friday morning. I got a whopping 1/4 inch of rain yesterday. Guess I'd better be thankful that I got any at all. But where I work... it poured. Oh well...

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 14°C and raining. Housework to do while it rains and the out to the garden this afternoon. I am trying to plant all the perennials on my plant rack ... I have a bad habit of picking up discounted plants and then leaving them on my plant rack outside. Today, they will all get homes. Have a great day all :)

Mild rain days, supposed to get back into the 80s F this week. Highly unusual weather.

Happy Saturday evening. We have friends that own an office complex, and whenever they get new tenants, I'm hired to clean that office for them. Who doesn't need a few extra bucks? So hubby came along to give me a hand. It's a "thing" for our friends... on Saturday mornings, anyone there working gets a Bloody Mary for a late breakfast. Yumm!
So, a few hours later, we're done and back home. And it starts to rain! We've gotten just around 1.5 inches of the wet stuff. I swear, I can hear the grass breathe a sign of relief. Good Saturday... now... what shall I spend my extra $$ on?? ;)

Good Sunday morning all. It's sunny out today, but a cool 10°C. I did manage to get most of my perennials planted yesterday, but there is still 2 ornamental grasses, a Lilac and a Maple tree to plant. Hopefully I will find a place for them today. I put out the first of the fall decorations yesterday... the earliest ever! Have a great day all :)

Good morning! Sun is up. A big orange ball in the sky. Had to close the curtains so I could see the monitor screen.
We had RAIN yesterday. Slightly more than an inch. Most rain since sometime back in the spring. Usually it just goes around us. Sunny and bright is the forecast for today.

Good Monday morning all. Currently just 8°C. The weather roller coaster continues this week ... seasonal temperatures expected for the next 2 days, then a day of extreme heat, followed by rain and cold temperatures. Just hoping the weather will be good for our Fall Fair this weekend! Off to work so have a great day all :)

Here we all are again, Monday! The temperatures are dropping for sure, can definitely feel the chill in the air, especially when I walk to work in the morning. Time for warm cups of tea and cosy jumpers for me!

Happy Monday morning. It's still summertime here. Temps are slightly cooler... today's high will be in the mid 90s with feel-like temps of 100F. Thought I was going to get rain yesterday... but the clouds only produced shade... which is pretty nice to get a break from the scorching sun.
Today looks clear and sunny. Guess I'll be watering this evening.
My battle with the armadillo continues. I put out some stuff that is supposed to repel for up to 2 months. After 3 days, it was back, but hasn't been around for the last 2. Wonder if it gave up since it's nose is burning?

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 15°C. We have just had a thunderstorm pass through here, I hope it's done now. Off to work, where today most of the veggie patch comes out. Definitely seen better days LOL Have a great day all :)
