Certain limitations are creeping in due to age. I can kneel on something soft but getting back up can be a problem. I made a kneeling pad to slip on the edge of my SFGs. The handles for getting back up are from a recycled lawn mower handle and I don’t know what the grips were on. With one knee complaining I could use one of those. The doctors advice was to quit weeding. I am changing insurance plans and doctors. Didn't like his solution.
Im guessing it stands for Square Foot Garden Ive read about those, seem interesting. Ive seen kneeling stools, but not ones that attach to a raised bed, thats neat.
TB is correct. Mel Bartholomew claims to be the originator of Square foot gardening but I remember a program on PBS that was very similar. You can do a Google search to see the concept.
