recently I am considering remodeling my small bedroom, and i know pale colour painting can make people feel the room bigger, but is there any other tips for it?

I think a strategically placed wall mirror can make a room seem bigger. I think it works better if it is floor to ceiling as it doesn't look too much like a mirror. And without frame also.

You could also keep the furniture in the room smaller...i.e. no canopy bed, no large hulking chest of drawers or dresser. And keep the furniture to a minimum, more floor and wall area that can be seen in a room gives the illusion that the room is larger.

Artwork or photos on the wall should be smaller than you would hang in a livingroom or maybe a grouping of smaller pictures of the same theme in fames of the same color. The space between the individual pieces will add to the illusion of more wall space too.

For window coverings, short curtains that hang no longer than the bottom of the window sill molding. If you don't want curtains at all, you could install shutters that blend in with the wall color.

Yes, tony is right but make sure your furniture pieces should not be heavy pieces. You can use light weight furniture pieces.

Actually there is such a thing as having too many mirrors in a room. When you are in a room with many mirrors all you see are reflections of furniture and people in that room and when you brain sees that many items in one space it doesn't make the room look larger, it makes it look cluttered and disorganized. Eventually you will feel very disoriented, off balance, irritated and all you want to do is get out of there.'

Think of the Hall of Mirrors at a carnival sideshow, it is meant to keep you confused and off balanced. Not a restful, peaceful setting for a family or friends
