    I might be getting better as the kingfishers are now hanging about the lagoon paths. Female this time.

    Wow that is nice. I might learn something about birds now by looking at all your pictures. I also enjoy looking at your Nature Site. Great!

    Those Kingfishers are kind of an exotic looking bird. I remember the first time I spotted one.It was along a creek in a pasture a few miles from home.I told my hubby to stop the truck & back up.I didn't know what it was until I looked in bird book.
    I think you got a good shot of it.

    Kingfishers are striking birds to watch and photograph. I think you're doing a great job of capturing yours with your camera. :-D

    My favorite bird,..and so hard to capture a good shot of one,..they take flight very easily,..but you managed a great picture.

    Managed to get a shot of a pair together but I had to rush it and one was out of focus a little. Naver seen two perched together before.
