Hi. New on the site but Day Lilies are amongst my favourite plants. I have had for years a very nice semi double flowered orange/red one which I have always known as Kwanso Flore Pleno - it is very reliable and this year has flowered exceptionally well. Any info on this please - will post a pic if I still have some I took this year. Syd Smith.

Your double orange is quite striking. I have a peach double, but I like the more angular petals on your orange. Does it have a scent?

I love Daylilies also. I have a Double Kwanso that is very similar to yours. That pink one is gorgeous!

Ref the Kwanso double. It has no scent but perhaps worth mentioning that I have had this plant for many many years - if memory is correct it appeared in a clump of singles, I detached it, grew it on and still with me. Again worth mentioning and again if memory is correct way back then when I started gardening the two Daylilies most "about" were Fulva and the yellow Flava. Speaking of yellows I have one, a slim petalled single I bought this year called Thunbergii.
