Last weekend it was in the mid-60's, at 5 pm tonight it's 16 deg. Can you say weather change? We also got an inch of snow last night so technically, we have a white Christmas, and also flooding in some area's.
All we have is stormy weather - gales and heavy rain, sleet and hail. It's 5 degrees here but seems much colder because of the wind. Air travel is disrupted and there's flooding in many areas.
Capt, We drove out to Latty yesterday for calling hours for a friends father and we drove rt. 30 the whole way...there was an immense amount of water along the highway in some places. The Little Auglaize was not the worst of all of the rivers we went over, but bad enough. I was glad it had quit raining and snowing. The roads were dry and clear, but my was it cold and today is even colder.
Chilly willy has settled into the area at 13°F and might be here awhile. Time for the chipmunks to throw a few more acorn shells on the fire. Stay warm Captain, the days are getting longer. Jerry
Monday night set record low -20. And today just enough snow on way home. And people going to fast. Lot of accidents.
It did get dang cold.Not as cold as they said it would be & no records broken here.I'm one to keep weather records & keep close watch due to greenhouse & heating with wood.I think it is about normal & the past few winters were the abnormal ones.A fella got spoiled. sewNsow
