Storm is still blowing through here. Pretty much everything is shut down in the entire province. All schools, airports,high bridges,ferries and most businesses are a "no go". I am amazed that my satellite and hydro are still up. Weather people are saying we can expect this all day and into the evening...meanwhile the snow drifts just keep piling up!
As of this post, winds continue at 30 to 35mph with gusts 40 to 50 and over. The snow depths are 30 inches+ with drifts to over 35 inches. The winds will continue for another 12 hours, abating around midnight. Additional accumulation will be about 5 inches. Pictures to follow. Jerry
