    ---------------

Posting images on the GardenStew forums is as easy as pie. Here's how to do it.
Note: these instructions are for Windows but should work almost identically on Mac / Linux.

First look for the following button when writing a forum message. Click it to get started.

    post-image1.gif

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Posting a Single Image

You need to select the image you want to upload. Then click 'Open'.

    Untitled-3.gif

Your image will now upload. You then have the choice to insert a Thumbnail of your image or the Full Image into your post.

    post-image2.gif

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Posting Multiple Images

You need to select multiple images to upload. Then click 'Open'.

    Untitled-4.gif

Your images will now upload. You then have the choice to insert Thumbnails of all of the images or all of the Full Images into your post. You can also insert images individually as normal.

    post-image3.gif

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are the images I used in my example, first posted as thumbnails and then as full images.

Hope this tutorial helped you. Let me know if you have questions. Perhaps try posting an image in this thread to test it out!

Hey Frank - Hope you can tell from this photo what I mentioned about the color, size, placement etc.
Let me know what you think. (Unless of course you think I'm a winy baby who could not find my
    way out of a paper bag - which I am :) )

I just uploaded a few photos in my post just a moment ago and it is wow!!! It is great and really fast.

Frank the photos posted on the thread will no longer be stored in the "Gardens"? Now if I want the photos to be in the garden too does that mean I had to manually upload it again in the garden?

That's correct KK. However I'm working on a way to allow you to insert photo from your Gardens like in the old system. So in that case you could operate your photo uploads in a similar way to last time.

That was quick and easy. before I was using pictures from our blogs and clicking the icon just right of the smiley thingy. And copying the image url like this:[IMG]
but by using the technique explained here I can share stuff that is not on our blog like quick pics from the yard and stuff. I just ran into a problem though all the pictures from my new camera gives me an error message that they are too big. So I will have to resize them to use this method. Still no easy way.

Hi @petunia , from my research it seems that iPads and other Apple products have problems uploading photos using our default system. This is due to be fixed in a future version of our forum software.

However for now I have made a small change to your account to remedy this. Can you try to upload a photo again?
