So my parents back yard has these little things all over. Can anyone tell me what they are?

They look like violets. I have some white ones that may have purple in them. Not enough growing degree days for them to flower in our yard yet.

Violets for sure. I have them in my garden - planted by the birds - and I love them.

thanks a lot! These are actually growing wild in my mothers yard, i found them very pretty. I was thinking of uprooting one or two plants, and putting them in a pot just for decoration purposes, but they are in the absolute middle of her yard lol.
