Hi all. Here is a better written guide for getting back into your GardenStew account. Try the options in the following order:

Option 1. Use the following page to get a new password emailed to you
    http://www.gardenstew.com/lost-password/
Please leave a few minutes for the password email to arrive. If it is not arriving please check through your email account Spam box.

Option 2. If you are having problems receiving the password email please contact me through the following page and quickly explain the issue:
    http://www.gardenstew.com/misc/contact
I'll try to get you back on asap.

Option 3. If all else fails create a new account and then start a new Conversation with me to let me know.
    http://www.gardenstew.com/conversations/add?to=frank
I will hook you back up with your old account and then remove up the temporary new account.

I managed to get back in without any problems Frank using option 1. I'm really enjoying wandering around and taking a good look at everything.

I used Option 1 also and had no problem, even entered my original GS password as the password on the new forum.

I also used option #1, and even though I'm nearly computer illiterate, it was no problem. I did change my password because it was getting old and tattered. I even found my picture albums and blogs. Whoopee!
Now, where are my seeds and patches? I earned them and I want them. I'd hate to have to come to Taiwan and shake them out of you, Frank !:smt084
And what's this "strong ash" thing? Ash better not be a typo!

Hi MG, Seeds have now become Likes. If you Like a forum message then it's the same as awarding a Seed before. I converted all Seeds to Likes during the upgrade process.

Patches are still around also but they are not as tightly integrated as before. Because they are an older feature they exist in the older parts of the site i.e. any place outside of the forums. Simply click on any of the older feature like Blogs or Gardens and you will see the Patches link on the top right hand side. Is this what you meant?

Regarding the 'Strong Ash', nope it's not a typo :snicker: They are simply some fun, botanic related titles that you earn based on your Message count.

Thanks for explaining where the patches are. Also thanks for explaining the "strong ash" reference. It's a good idea!

I tried to help Connie Lee to get on here with the information you sent me but she hasn't had any luck yet.

Though I have been back since the new sign in page, I also went through option 1. But would like to put in my own password, not finding where to do that as it keeps wanting to just give me one already created. Please help and Thankyou.

Petunia, click on your name located top right under the GardenStew banner. A list of options will drop down, click on Password. Then you can enter a new password, confirm it and click on Save Changes.
