Here's my doppelganger, we confuse and entrance the world together because on one can tell who his dad is since he looks exactly like me.

I tend to like to put older photos of myself up.... So I decided to put older photos in order to present... I would love to just use older pics of me but that seems dishonest, like I am trying to trick people... So I came up with this, honest and I get to show the pics of myself I like...

I am not a fan of posting my own "recent" pictures but feeling very sentimental about this one so I want to post it. I am in the hat and the blond is my sister.

Hi, Everyone. I'm shy and don't post much but this is me, in my room, showing off a shawl I made.

Xantedeschia.....I don't blame you for wanting to show off that beautiful shawl...don't be shy here....all of the people I know are pretty nice and will help you if you need any answers. Are you going to wear the shawl or is it a gift for someone?

Hi Toni, I'll post it right away. I crocheted it from a pattern by Nazanin S. Fard. It's called the Top-Down Shawl. :)

Hi Donna S, it's pretty easy but there is a learning curve if you're coming from right handed Knitting to Crocheting. I learned from the Baltimore Free School and YouTube mostly. Now I'm learning more from Knitting Daily series 100 - 1100. :)

Hi Sherry8, I'm not shy specific to this forum, I'm just shy in general. I will come over to this side more though. Everyone here is very nice. It's my shawl. I made it for myself. I'm hoping to get a chance to wear it when it gets cooler. It's all superwash, so I'm not worried about it getting damaged in the weather but I would like to get some Eucalan for it before I take it out for a test drive. :)

I have a little story about a hat like that, Capt. Kirk. I was the social worker at The Salvation Army several years back, and the man who always stocked the pantry wore a hat like yours. except his had flaps that hung down over the ears. One day while he was stocking, I had a mother and child in my office. The little girl sat quietly with her mouth open, but did not take her eyes off the man. After he left, she tugged at her mother and asked, "Why did that man have a doggie on his head, Mommy?"
