It seems that I've had a membership for several years but have never posted. I put my first question in another forum today so thought I should introduce myself. I'm Kirsten, living in the lower part of Northern Michigan, determined to be a better gardener.

Hi Kirsten, :setc_034: it's very nice to meet you "formally".
I only recently rediscovered my own G'Stew membership  - which I had lost track of and allowed to go inactive for quite a few years.

Thanks all. The weather is unseasonably warm and gorgeous today here in the lower part of Northern Michigan. I'm soaking up some fresh air while the weather cooperates, trying to figure out which of the plants in the neglected garden beds are weeds and which are potential perennials.

Hi Kirsten, welcome to GardenStew from north central Texas. Photos, we love garden, plant, pet, scenery photos so any you want to share will be great...especially during the winter when most members have nothing to look out at except snow. Which to me would be a beautiful view, but then we don't get much snow in Texas.

I work very close to Lake Michigan and will be sure to take pictures as the winter weather rolls in. I live further inland.

Welcome from Illinois. I've only been in that part of Michigan one time but it sure is pretty up there.
