Well, it's almost January and Virginia Beach is still enjoying warm temps. In fact, all the bulbs I planted this fall are sprouting. I have Narcissus everywhere. I am a mom, wife, caregiver to my mom and called "Nana" by my grandpup. I love gardening. Just finished revamping my entire yard and I can't wait to see the explosion of color next spring. Perennials and bulbs are everywhere. Cooking is my second passion along with jewelry making. I look forward to sharing and reading great forum topics.

    Hey Linda. Welcome! :smt039

I started a thread a few days ago about how confused my poor flowers are, so I get where you're coming from!

Wander around, check us out. Hope you enjoy your visit enough to stay!

Hi Linda, welcome to GardenStew from chilly north central Texas....we finally have some fall like temps after summer lasting until almost mid-December. I have roses in full bloom and sunflower seeds dropped from the bird feeder that are germinating in the ground.

Photos, we love to see photos of gardens, soon to be gardens, local scenery, etc. so I hope you have a camera handy when you wander through your gardens.
