New here and look forward to being part of this community. Know I'll spend many hours of enjoyment here (probably too many, time should be 'doing something'). Live in SE OK, zone 7. Lot of rain here past two months. Tried to plant some shrubs in yard yesterday and ground actually too wet. Just wait until July, I'll wonder how I could ever think that.

Hi Alena, welcome to GardenStew from north central Texas. We drove down Highway 69 Friday coming home from a trip to Chicago and got caught in the storms around Sherman that were heading into SE Okla. Glad you came through those okay.

Welcome! You'll find that stopping by here is like visiting with neighbors over the garden fence--except your "neighbors" are from all over the world.
We are in central Texas, and pretty soggy right now, too!

We did live in Texas but now are in Wisconsin. It's in the 50's here now but it was sunny today and is supposed to be in the 60's this next week. I hope it doesn't go back to 50's. You will enjoy it here and everyone is very helpful. dooley
