The Good Day All Thread

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 1 degree C and clear. I am very tired this morning, and hope the day is at least warm for working outside. Work, then shopping and errands. Have a great day all

 

Good Saturday morning all. Currently just 2°C and sunny. I hope to get in some 'garden therapy' this weekend. I have had a horrible week and I just want to lose myself in my garden. As soon as the wash is hung out on the line and the dishes washed, I'm going out. Have a great day all

 

Well I was hoping to burn off steam in my garden today after work. The boy has been gone for like, I don't even know how long anymore. So yeah. Garden was the plan.

Forcast said cold rain. But I figured that whoever is in charge of the weather wouldn't abide by the weatherman's prediction. He she or it doesn't on days it's supposed to be nice but rains any way. Well. Yeah. Rain and cold. Garden is full of weeds and grass. Couldn't do anything about it so I figured I'd at least stir my compost. The center is dry and cold.

So. I turned the soil between plants with a fork to at least cover some of the weeds and keep them back till I can get out when it's dry and weed. Stirred the compost. Now I'm gonna take a bath and have some (copious amounts) wine.

 

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 4°C and raining. I just came back from my morning walk, it's just not the same without my dog
Some housework to do today, and I think I'll plant some seeds. I may just start looking for a German Shepherd breeder too.

Today is going to be a no sleep day. Its only raining intermittently. So I'm working on the bed for the asparagus and going to lay down some straw to control the weeds in my garden. Hopefully it dries out this week some so I can really dig into those unwanted little buggers.

 

It turned out to be a very good day indeed.

Good Monday morning all. Currently 5 degrees C and clearing. Had my morning walk around the gardens today, things have grown since I last looked! Off to work to finish spring cleanup and hopefully start prepping some beds. Have a great day all

 

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 4 degrees C and sunny. Finally a nice day ahead to get some work done! Today I will also begin picking fiddleheads and asparagus for the kitchen! Looks like spring may finally be here!! Have a great day all

 

66°, grey and drizzly this morning.
Voted in the Primaries earlier, now about to head in to my chiropractic appt. They're going to do a 2nd round of xrays to see where Im at in my treatment. Then I might go to Lowes, then home to do dishes, laundry and a bit of vaccuming and mopping.
Julie refused to pee when we let her out before bed, so in the middle of the night she went downstairs and peed all over the front entryway. The bf tried to clean most of it, but he didnt want to be late for work.

It's a beautiful day out partly cloudy and 65 f. But I'm tired. So I'm going to bed.

 

CJay, I'm happy for you and for your fiance. I hope he realizes what a prize he has in you (if not, we'll all chime in and tell him!).

 

Happy Tuesday afternoon. Not much happening out my way. All the new stuff I planted is drowned or drowning from all the rain we've been getting. Note to self, next year, don't plant anything until the middle of May!
