This beast has grown in my garden for 15 years and tried to head to the great compost heap in the sky a few years back but then it burst back into life, and this year for the first time ever, it is flowering.

Now that's a beast I certainly wouldn't mind having in my own garden. Many people have grown them and got tired of them only to realise they can take years to flower. I'm so glad you gave yours a second chance EJ.

    Good grief, EJ--what a story!
What can you do with that thing?

There are four flower spikes in all and I am hoping they will be covered in little white star like flowers.

My goodness! It looks very tall and quite impressive. I'm glad it recovered and is blooming for you.
