OK, here I would now like to start a discussion about tree houses! :D

Have you ever owned one, or been in one?
Would you like to have one for yourself someday?
Do you have any pictures, ideas, concepts, or construction plans?
Got any personal stories about a tree house that you'd like to share with everyone?

Or did you recently see a picture or a video of a tree house that you liked? If so, feel free to share it all right here!

Do keep in mind that tree houses are not just for kids - As more and more adults (all over the world) are now getting them made for themselves!

I know Philip, I also am getting to like the concept more and more with each passing day! Believe it or not, but tree houses of today now have all the luxuries of any modern home - Plus they are a lot more secure too (obviously)...

Only issues that do put me off a little, (but only a little) is that they lack a proper car parking area, and sometimes they are not always wheelchair friendly. But making a tree house that will function as an extension of your existing house - Solves the car parking issue. Now about the wheelchair, well, I myself personally don't have any mobility problems right now. But will things continue to remain this way when I'll be 90 plus??? Already I am seeing people in their 80s living healthy and productive lives, however 25% of them do require a wheelchair at some point. Also, when one has injured their legs, then there too, a wheelchair is required sometimes. I myself am no stronger when it comes to broken bones (due to my active lifestyle), but thankfully never my legs. However, I can't say anything about the future.

So I was right now thinking of installing something like an open air capsule life/elevator, alongside the usual staircase - A very useful thing to have, specially when it comes to moving furniture up or down... What do you guys think???

We watch treehouse masters show all the time here. They have some awesome builds I could live in. So cool being up in the trees...

We used to build super basic ones when we were kids. Some were just a flat piece of wood as a floor but it was still cool for us because we would build em high up like crows nests in a ship and spy on the other neighbourhood kids hehe........ahhh memories....
