My oldest sons wife always keeps a tidy garden but we had not seen it for some time until they invited us for lunch today. Her garden is looking beautiful and I could not resist posting a few mobile phone snaps of it. I did introduce her to GS because I think she would be in good company and I hope she joins this very friendly group.

    Here are the pics:

WOW - definitely lovely! Particularly like the bird houses and her sedums are also lovely :) :) :)

In the first and second photos - does she have a Yucca? Or what is that pointy leaf kinda purplish plant?

Yes Islandlife, she did mention yucca when we walked around the borders. But you know me, not exactly an expert on plants. What I didn't take a picture of is her corner where she has her little painted shed and her compost containers. Next time perhaps.

Really tidy-looking garden there. She must put a lot of time into that in the spring and fall, because now it really looks quite smart.

Oh!!! That is one beautiful garden...Lush lawn and winding garden line. I love it. Cat makes a great ornament. Tell your DIL how much everyone loves what she has done with her garden....

Now why can't my garden look as beautiful as your DIL's? She certainly has green fingers that's for sure!! I hope she does join us here as she'd be a real asset.

She has a beautiful yard, in fact I think I'm drooling a bit over it. Please encourage her to join us here on GardenStew.

Gorgeous garden!!!!! She will fit right in here, hope she joins.

I couldn't have a garden that tidy if I worked on it 24/7, actually my gardens resemble my home decorating style, very casual and too crowded most of the time.
