New plant for me this year.

    20170702_192144.jpg I was in a big seed swap last fall and got many wonderful seeds. Here is a new one for me, its called Chinese For get me nots.
    I like the blue flowers.

    Chicory is blue and so are your beautiful flowers, but I think someone mislabeled them for you. those look to be forget-me-nots. Chicory has light blue flowers about an inch across. smooth stems and leaves and a tap root you have to dig out to get rid of it if it is a weed in your yard. no pulling it.

    I think it is Cynoglossum amabile.

    The blue is beautiful Bosque! Blue is unusual in the garden. I think Netty is right: Chinese Forget-me-not.
    I agreed with Carolyn too; chicory tends to grow on the sides of roads. The flowers are very pretty, the foliage not so much. Huge tap root.
