We went off for a short five day break last week. The weather at home was hot and we expected our backyard to look wilted and sad when we returned last Friday. Not so! Happily things were looking lovely and a quick watering made everything feel better.
    This is just after watering......

Yes it is very pleasant Eileen and you are correct, a nice place to sit on the loungers with a cold drink or three :)
Now that the foxes' duties raising the cubs are ending they have started to come and visit during the day.

Eden doesn't have to be acres and acres--it can be a lovely patio with lush plants, and visiting foxes. It seems you have a bit of Eden right there!

I like that, very clean looking. I didn't think you had to water anything in England.

I know I have mentioned our local urban foxes in the past. The pair have just about finished bringing up their new family and the cubs are almost as big as the adults. The vixen came to see us yesterday afternoon

I know she is looking a bit thin but just look at what she has reared. (Please be patient, it runs for just over 2 minutes.)

@Kildale Oh yes Kildale we have our share of rain but occasionally, just occasionally, we have a hot spell.
But I am reminded of the words of William Blake 'Till we have built Jerusalem
In England's green and pleasant land' ;);)

Your patio looks so nice, Rad. I like the colour and plant choice.
I could watch your fox vids all day long.

I love foxes, and miss the antics of the fox family at work. They have been very scarce since the coyotes moved into town.
