Help me to choose a tile for my bathroom. We are planning to renovate our bathroom. Because most of the tiles are cracked. How about choosing a stone tile for your bathrooms. Is it long lasting? Since it is from nature, it might have some natural values preserved in it. So I thought to install it. But before that, I would like to get your suggestions on this. Are there any drawbacks in choosing stone tiles for bathrooms? Might it be slippery, since it is too soft?

I have several clients with stone in their bathroom. One for one, they love the look of it, but hate that it's so hard, because when they drop stuff, it inevitably breaks.

That's my only experience with it, and that's second hand. But passing it on for what it's worth.

My same experience as Ronni says. Stone looks fantastic but if you drop something on it it will break.

For bathrooms I'd suggest the biggest tile that looks good so as to minimize grout and future work keeping grout clean ;)

I think it is a good idea, the stone floor will definitely look good.

Hey, I recently did my bathroom renovation, so, just saw the thread and thought of commenting. For my bathroom we used Vinyl Tiles, as per space and area. It's been 6 months since the renovation and the tiles are amazing. It feels so good. I hope the tiles which you chose was best for you.
