The only thing is the plant is in a small pot and it would tip over.
And that's not the only plant all looking for window time come this winter.

can you get a clay pot just a about the same size and put the plant (old pot and all) into the new pot? something just a bit heavy to keep it upright. I tell all my customers to put their new jade plant or aloe in a heavy pot to keep it from falling over.

If the leaning part will bend up without breaking, it could be staked/trellised. I decided to do that with Epiphyllum oxypetalum, because it needed an enormous amount of elbow room and "dangle space" in a hanging pot.

If you do decide it needs a trim, you can stick the cut-off piece back in the pot, after letting the cut dry for a few days. Sometimes I have to do things to my plants because of space that I would not choose to do otherwise. It's not easy being a tropical wannabe at temperate latitudes! :)

Your aloe may have "pups" soon. Those are little aloes that cluster around the mother plant. You can dig and lift them, put them in their own individual pots, and pray that you can find enough folks that want an aloe!
I sympathize with the heaviness of some plants. I have a bay tree in a large pot which has to go into the barn for the coldest part of winter. I use a dolly to move it since there is no way I could stagger out to the barn, carrying that tree in my arms.
Ed, do you have any young, strong neighbors? You may have someone nearby that can help with that overweight aloe.

Ed,, is that the little one I sent you a couple of years back ? Mine always gets huge as in two or three feet tall with several smaller ones. I just cut the larger one at the soil line and toss it but leave the small ones.
Very shortly the small ones will become large ones.

No strong people around but was thinking about trimming back and get rid of them.
I know this is wrong but there are just to many.
The temps are getting cooler and soon I will have to bring them in.
I wish my vegetable garden was better as I only got 3 cherry tomatoes and 2 leaves of lettuce.
I think it was my potting soil.
I use Miracle-Gro because I thought it was good but it only had some soil and sticks.
The sun strikes my balcony from right after noon until the sun sets and the temp outside can get VERY warm.
    sleep cool.

Ed, you got more tomatoes than I did! Something killed my plant seemingly overnight.

    Thank you, Ed!

...and that's the best name for a doctor I've ever heard, Dr. Tomorrow. That's as optimistic as it gets! Hope all goes well.
