    You might want to check out your community gardens for starts and exchanges. The plants would be acclimated and best suited for your area. Farmers market, garden clubs, MeetUp, Extension offices might be a good resources for information and point you to the plants and varieties best for your area. Shipping is often more expensive than purchasing locally, not to mention regulations. Good luck in finding what you want.

    HI Jewel,
    I appreciate the reply. I have had good luck with online trading of seeds and plants so far. When it comes to raspberries and strawberries I am aware of what varieties will grow here and what will not. As far as local communities and nurseries I live in a fairly remote location, the nearest garden center is 45 miles away and is in a fully different hardiness zone (I am 5b it is in 6b).
    As far as strawberries and raspberries go most varieties will grow well here, if it is a tender variety I can prepare them for winter.
