    I had the idea of doing bokashi composting when after Jewell made this post "Bokashi Bin Journey and Random Thoughts". Back then in 2013 we were downsizing to a new home so this thought had to be stored somewhere, I guess I stored it too well until it was forgotten.
    Recently I decided to stop my worm farm because it was not productive enough and the worm population had grown in my grow beds. So as a alternative to enrich the soil in my garden I guess the idea of bokashi crept out from some far corner in my memory :).

    I have been toying with the idea of doing bokashi composting from scratch, everything right down to the bokashi bran. I have done a lot of reading on google and watch you tube on this subject for the past week. I'm just wandering anyone here is doing it right now (Jewell, I hope you are reading my post) so that I can get a first hand account of it.

    Any input will be great!

    Thanks :)

    Hey KK, sounds interesting! Keep us posted with how it goes.

    I have begun trying to separate my compost materials: those with potential weed & perennial seeds go in one bin, those materials that are weed seed free go in the others.

    Yes it is interesting Cayuga, after reading further the main thing here is not about the composting but more of culturing the Effective Microbes or commonly known as EM. I am now trying to figure out the best way to start the EM culture. :)

    Lucky you Mart. :):cool::D
