IMG_0188.JPG IMG_0185.JPG I feared after moving to a new bungalow, also splitting the plant in Spring that my Canna would not flower this year but I was wrong. Not only that the split Canna has flowered too and I have a pup plant from the mother plant in a pot.

All being well I can make a feature with the three in a circle next Spring. I hope to keep the three indoors all winter inside the small hallway where its frost free.

They are so pretty! The beautiful dark foliage makes the bright flowers look like their glowing.

I agree with 2, the foliage offsets that flower very well.
I grow a maroon leaved canna too but our season is too short for it to blossom. I don't care, those great big tropical maroon leaves earn a place in my garden every year.

Gorgeous color...around here they seem to think everyone wants dwarf cannas, the larger ones are hard to find...How tall did yours get?
