Orioles...2017

    They arrived about a week ago.... the poor things we have had a night or two in the 30's...and very windy. I love their beautiful colors ...

    I will really miss the orioles and the hummingbirds. I am not sure if they come around the lake with all of the larger birds...I have noticed robins, black birds and barn swallows flying around the area.

    Winter here and I am dreaming about the orioles and hummingbirds....it might be a challenge at this new home and I feel so bad that no one is living at the other home right now so no one will be there to feed them when they come in the spring. I had fed them for 12 years at that house and I always had quite a few of them...it was always fun to see the juveniles come later on. I have to find a spot where they will find my Oriole feeder and hummingbird feeder at this home, I am not sure when we will get some trees planted...
