    OK folks here's a little quizz I've devised for you all. :) Time to test those little grey cells!!! :D :D

    All the answers are the names of well known flowers.

    1. Short sleep backwards and say without a heart.

    2. Not margarine in this drinking vessel.

    3. High temperature but just for some.

    4. Tatty little, popular garden bird.

    5. Fifty up in the air.

    6. Initially Cupid and Romeo with deep feeling in heart.

    7. Close quickly with this fabled fire breather.

    8. Unite two people - with bullion?

    9. This girl is not a pupil.

    10. Sharpen the pigs' home.

    11. Sounds very cold in Ice Age initially.

    12. Reynard likes to keep his 'hand' in one of these.

    13. Bit of a fop this fierce creature?

    18. An oceanic, prickly sounding plant.

    Yes Frank I think that would be the best way for everyone to do it. :) I'll let it run for about a week and then let everyone know who the winner is. :D

    Quickly looking through them I got three, cripes they are hard. Should keep me thinking all week. Then again, I was never much of a crossword head :D

    This was posted about 6 months before I joined GardenStew and I never saw it. So far I have 7 figured out.

    Now I have 14.

    I had to do the quiz myself as it was posted so long ago I'd forgotten the answers. I've now got them all so go ahead and see what you can come up.

    The answers are all either garden or wild flowers. If you need clues then let me know. I'll be glad to help.

    Oooooh that would be nice, you make such beautiful cards!!!
    I had a list of 14 answers but last night something brought my computer to a halt....we think it is bad programing on a site I spent a lot of time on yesterday...we had to force a shut down and since my printer is out of ink I lost the list. I will start over again tho.
