Asian jumping worms??

Odif, that was excellent. I think it IS red wrigglers that came with the goat manure. I'll know better once the snow cover melts here & I can get back in the garden. Thanks.

Chuckle. I had a bizarre mental picture of someone saying howdy-do to a writhing pink mess.

 

Cayuga, I am on speaking terms with our Garden snakes, frogs, Earth worms, so I may become acquainted with Asian Jumping worms, NOT !

 

Man Cayuga...that is some scary stuff. Heck, when I do plant in the soil again, I will definitely be on the look out!!! Geez...just imagine the people who don't know the difference. These things could wipe out ecosystems!!

 

I think we may resort to container planting. Please, tell me these Asian worms cannot jump 2 feet high!
