Am I boring you yet with my pottery pictures? This is my latest foray into clay, a sculpture of my boy. I actually found it very hard to create a likeness, but I am very pleased with the result and I think when I glaze it he will really come alive. The ears are being supported whilst it dries to give them some volume.

Oh my you've come on in leaps and bounds with your pottery EJ!! I think you've done a fantastic job. You must let us see it again once it's been glazed.

BBABE794-33B8-4846-B05C-3BC1D2913310.jpeg I’m such a slacker! Here is my finished boy, he ended up going through the kiln twice as the first coat of black glaze just wasn’t black enough, he survived!

I was a bit worried that the ears might crack but they look just right. You must be so proud of the way it turned out.
