Tiny worms eating my tomato plants

    What are these destructive creatures and how do I get rid of them? They are very tiny caterpillars, maybe? There are holes and tracks on the leaves. Help!

    Oh, yeah... nasty little buggers! I think they are tomato pinworms.
    soapy water. do not rinse it off. or even soapy water with an insecticide in it like dog and cat shampoo. pyrethrum based will also kill them off a bit faster. Bt sprayed or dusted on the plant will also get them.

    Right,, follow Carolyns advice. The pyrethrin is approved organic !! Permethrin is the man made version and is what I use,,takes very little of either one. About two TBSP of the shampoo to a spray bottle and fill with water to the neck. You can also use the cat flea spray,,same mixture just add a squirt of dish soap so it will stick.
