I like daylilys because they are so easy to grow. I have run across a few that quit blooming and I just threw them out. I had tried bloom booster on them and just about everything I could think of. I had left them in for 2 seasons and nothing. But on the whole I think daylilys are so great----------------. These are a few of mine... This one is Eenie Allegro (Hemerocallis) This is Ruby Stella
Sherry I'm with you, I LOVE DAYLILIES!! You would love the Lily Auction.com I googled daylilies one day and found this site, it is awesome!! I've bought a few off of it and the transactions were great. We have a few day lily lovers on this site :-D I think the doubles are my favorites, especially the little ones. When someone sees a blossom in my yard they are amazed because they are so elegant and graceful. They think they would be difficult to grow but I assure them they are the easiest thing in the world next to zinnias! Deanna :-D
Nice daylilies. I have a few. I also have a ton of white tail deer who love to eat them so I have to keep my numbers low. Deer repellant gets expensive, and chicken wire is ugly around them.
I have never heard of the Lily Auction .Com....but I will check it out. I am running out of room because I already have a huge bed in the front and back and on all sides of the house. I started putting in flower beds before our furniture was here..Thank you.
Daylilys are awesome How nice it looks to see the pure flowers beckoning for us to come outside......... Wonder if they are singing..I remember you, when they see us???????????
I am not sure what happened to some of the pictures...but you can find more daylilies in my albums, the ones for 2018 are smaller because I brought quite a few of them from our last home because i had so many that were duplicates there, I took what I wanted before our home was put up for sale...2019 should be a good year for them at their new home...
I wonder what happened to my photos? Yes, Petronius I took quite a few with me..so easy to chop them in half when they are so large...the first spring here they were under water until I could move them around the house...
