Last year in February we lost Bracken who was 13 from leukemia.
He was having human keomotheripy tablets, vet would give us a prescription and we would take it to the pharmacy to get them. They were working for a while, but he got worse and died at home in the early morning. The emergency vet was busy and too early to take him to the vet.

This was taken the year before in may on one of his walks around the wood. We call it a wood but it's really a copice.

    Thank you @toni
I would have preferred if we could have got him to the vet, so that he could have been put to sleep, it was very distressing for me and I'm not sure if he was in pain.

Hi Logan, I love both i'm in to animals besides reptiles as you know I've always been like that...I never thought I would adore a dog again after my grandads Alsation went for me as a child but I was lucky he was in the kitchen with me, then my mom a bit later down the years, brought home a 2yr old Sheltie collie all mattered up and my mom shaved her fur off and it growed back beautiful and thick...she was put to sleep at 16yrs old with a collapsed uterus and the vet said they could operate but it could happen again...so my mom decided to put her out of her misery, she was one faithful friend and since then I've never looked back regarding animals in general.

Sorry to hear about your loss @Gail-Steman
16 years is a good age. You have a lot of good memories, like i have and I've never forgotten them, no matter how long it's been.

Logan you know the saying "You never forget the best" and it looks like we've had some great pets along the way.

    Yes we have.:)
I can still remember what they used to get up to.
Logan and moss were brothers but logan was a year older. When we had 3 iI would take the other out and left them at home, i wouldn't know what I'd come back to. We've had plug sockets broken. Moss liked to make his bed, one day i came back and the floor covering in the kitchen had been pulled up and torn around the cubbards. But we still love them.:)
