Well, this really gets me in the Christmas mood. What a magically wonderful display. My Bride (ever the practical one), wonders where you store those decorations. hahaha.
No, but your display really is special. Have you ever had your yard featured in your local newspaper or on TV?

Every lawn item except for the 10' nativity are stored in our attic space above the 2 car gar., hubby put a plywood floor down years ago. The nativity stands against the side wall in the gar. and all lights get stored in big totes stacked in front of our car and covered with a drop down blind. As for the Epic video sorry but I consider all blow ups Junk! and you would never find them in our display or cluttering our lawn during the daytime hours. I am very precise about placing every single object and would not accept a hodgepod or a cluttered mess, or over done lights, And yes we are in our local paper every year. And I only hope and pray we can do this all again next Xmas as hubby will be 81 Dec. 23rd (my Santa) and I am 74, 75 in 2019 with bad legs/knees. Doing this while in the high 80's/90's is no easy chore either. We simply are overjoyed seeing all the folks who come by to see it, and we enjoy our inside just for us! (no family) only the 2 of us old folks.. thank you for all the nice comments I pass them along to my Santa.

Hello Susie I've removed the video and I do apologise if I've caused any offense :(...it's nice to hear your published in a paper yearly as you well deserve it. For both your ages which you've mentioned you do them beautifully and your home is one eye catcher it was a pleasure viewing it.

I wished my hubby viewed Christmas in the same aspect as myself..i'm 50 he's 60 and found putting the tree up pointless, so I gave them away to charity and 2yrs ago, come this year he said it would have looked nice...it makes Christmas seem boring with out them.

No offense taken at all but we see many that would never be seen at my house we are wayyy to fussy everything here must be just right my hubby does all the wiring and restringing as we have changed over to LED's where ever we could simply to keep the lights on and not blow circuits, we even had 2 dedicated circuit installed 2 yrs. ago . We just love Christmas and talk and plan all year long, it's just how we roll... LOL

When the day comes that you can't manage setting up your Christmas displays, you will always still have the memories of remembering your accomplishments and how many admirers you have.
Well, the Bride and I are not surprised to see that you get some recognition in the newspaper. It is such a remarkable display and obviously so many folks enjoy your light show along with you.
    Chapeau, Suz.

@SusieQ07, I like Santa in the locomotive, the carriage, and the angel figurines.

You are hijacking my thread with this while I am looking each day for comments on my display to pass along to my Dh=dear hubby wish you would edit and remove, it's all gaudy and ugly while we strive for Elegant, while keeping the true meaning of Christmas with our nativity, church and angels etc. Thanks
