Hi Kazzawazza , how long have they been in snd do they look overcrowded ?
Usually this happens because of two reasons...........

    1) if this is their second year then they're not planted deep enough and so need planting deeper.

    2) If they're overcrowded then they need diggng up and splitting into smaller clumps and replanting. Do this when the leaves are dying off.

@Kminster the dafs are planted in groups. I have some in a corner of the front lawn and some under a tree. Both no longer flower. They have got to have been planted 7 or more years ago.

It sounds as though they need splitting. Feed them about once a month until they start dying down then dig them up and replant them seperately. You'll find that for every one you planed there are now probably three or four.

OK. I’ll have a go. They do look tightly planted.

@Kazzawazza, The daffodil bulbs may be quite old and quite congested in their space below the soil. If possible, they should be dug up and replanted.
