To celebrate the frigid temps here (22°F this am) I thought I would make some soup. My wife loves it on cold days!

Catdaddy, I like the look of that recipe!

Today I made sauteed pollock with garlic lemon parsley butter, roasted sweet potatoes and sautéed zuccini.

It came out really well. I did double it but wow! Even better than imagined, and quite filling.

    Tonight it's chorizo tacos...

No Miss--no Mexican cornbread. That would have been just perfect. You know--I haven't seen the cornbread griddle since we moved. --uh-oh.

My Bride is rendering some bacon fat for putting on the broad beans tonight. We will also have Wiener Schnitzels and Ratte D'ardeche spuds.

Making a double batch of soy/garlic/honey/butter/ginger chicken thighs over rice with sautéed spinach.

We're going to freeze the 2nd batch for our trip to upstate NY for our frigid forestry project.

I love black bean sauce! We usually have it with shrimp.

Well Cayu, I do too...especially with Mexican dishes.
I liked that chicken dinner you wrote about above. Could I call it a variant of sticky chicken?

---Tonight it was ground lambs meat, Swiss chard and cowrie pasta with very thick and creamy cheese sauce.
