Max was my favourite dog ever. A good and trusted friend and as daft as a brush. Liked to pose and show off !!.

And looks like a sweetie ! I take it he isn`t with you anymore ? We have a bunch ! All except one rescued from country roads as pups the other one (hound cross) found us ! Cute little puppies that now are between 60 and 98 lbs ! Just two smaller dogs that are inside ! Want to trade vet bills ? :)

    Hi Mart,
Max passed away 20 years ago. He fathered nine lovely pups one a choclolate colour. The bitch belonged to a pub landlord. We agreed he could have all the pups as one was enough for me. They all went to pups to be guard dogs except Chocolate he kept for himself. We had a brilliant vet and he loved Max for how well behaved he was and a great laugh too with his antics. He never charged us at all !!. He loved Max too.

We are so fortunate with our vet! She really cares (medically and emotionally) for animals, and loves to see our cats come in because they purr, want to be held, and don't mind shots and temperature takings. She said she had never had cats purr with a thermometer up their . . . .

    Hello Marlingardner,
You are lucky to have a good kind vet. Like GP's you either get a good one or an automaton with no feelings.
