    It sounds as though you have everything under control. Who knows you may even have some frog spawn within the next few weeks. Hopefully, if you do, the fish don't see it as a tasty snack before it hatches.

    Ive not had any spawn since installing the pond mid 2017 only what i introduced last year a bit of a mistake doing so for more than one reason one most of the tadpoles went through the pump and was killed two i introduced chick weed and three Mr Blackbird enjoyed eating them,

    I wont be putting any more in but if they breed i will have to sort something out with the pump i can net the pond to prevent the birds eating them, the fish are small they never bothered with the spawn last year,

    The water is a lot clearer today another few days and it should be like tap water until i clean the pump out and mucky it up again.

    Thanks hows tricks :), getting a few frogs visiting the pond now hopefully get some spawn this year.

    Nitram...that is an amazing water feature. I love frogs as much as i love hummers. Haven't "invited" over yet, but they have ended up in the pool...one was in there overnight and he/she was not going to make it after i took it out. So i guess i try a toad house, but wait....don't snakes eat frogs? Dag, i have to remember where i'm living..an overgrown drainage ditch is right behind us...so i may not want to get out the white tablecloth too soon or we may have uninvited guests to come live with us.
    Seriously, i can't wait to see the feature when everything has filled out. Is that located at the back of a garden area? looks like a hedge of trees in a manicured area leads you to that space....very nice.

    Hi nitram i hope your keeping well...a friend of ours let the spawn keep going and his wife as gone made with the amount of frogs hopping around the garden :rofl:
