It’s one for the record books here. We’ve had snow piling up since November. More last night. Frigid temps also.
Everybody is SO ready for spring, but weather forecasts are not looking good yet.
This upcoming weekend, I’ll participate with Heritage Nursery at a regional home& garden show. This will help give us hope that spring will come!

Yes, it sure has been a long, snowy winter with no signs of letting up.
I think a garden show would be awesome 'therapy'!

We've been lucky here in Scotland as we've had very little snow this winter. Freezing temperatures and plenty of frost, yes, but only a couple of light falls of snow. Let's hope spring finds you both soon. :fingerscrossed:

My cousin in Omaha left for the Caribbean yesterday morning. He's got 31 inches of snow on the ground. The high was in the single digits F. I'll be visiting in September, I hope spring has sprung by then.

Fatbaldguy- I’m about 50 miles from Omaha. I think they’ve had a bit more snow, but not much more! We’ve been spoiled by recent mild winters. I like the snowy blanket, great to insulate the plants. That being said- there is so much that it’s going to take a while to melt!
September is usually a beautiful month here, hope you’ll experience that.

So, it snowed again last night. Around 3 inches with more coming . It’s just a few inches away now from breaking the record snow fall total for our city.
    Ugh

We have dodged some of the snow but not the cold. the last couple snows werent anything like they predicted. I was pretty thankful, but felt bad for all the ones who were hammered with it. thankfully it appears to be warming up now. I so need it to get my greenhouses opened up and start heating them. I just can't do it at the close to single digit temps.

Carolyn- it’s been very cold here. The high temps are about 20 -25 degrees below normal-
and I don’t even want to talk about the LOW temps!!
Mother Nature has just got to give it up!!

Sjoerd- Yes, I’m hanging in there! I’ve been back at work a few days a week for office stuff etc. and spent some hours in our greenhouses accessing and cutting back perennials. It is lovely to be in those houses and it smells wonderful!!
Bob and I just shoveled off 4 or 5 inches of snow off the drive and walks. We’re seriously running out of places to put it and the pile in the picture I posted is now taller than me.
It’s going to be a sloppy, muddy spring for certain!!

Ahh yes, there is nothing like the smell of a greenhouse at winters end. I've been stopping in at my favorite greenhouse (even though they aren't open haha It's ok, they are always happy to see me) and breathing it in.
