IMG_0724.JPG Here are my first radishes of the year.

This morning, I found these that were hiding in a corner of the garden. They are hard and crispy and with a slight bite. IMG_0752.JPG

I've never been successful with radishes either, but this year seems like the year. Odif, those that you found, look a little scary..
Some of those sprouts would be great on a salad.

The radishes from yesterday in spite of their aspect were surprisingly good once peeled. I planted more radishes yesterday.

Hi There @Petronius.....these are the other two that were growing in the water bottles picked yesterday.. had three in each..probably a bit much, which is why they are not the true shape, but i didn't think I would get any as usual. The greens on these are amazing. Crazy thing is, I have no idea if I like radishes or not...they're just pretty, so i tried my hand at them...feel the same way about eggplant..which i do not like from a child, but will grow it because i love the appearance and give it another try after growing my own. I still have the FB radish in the fridge in water. Afraid to eat it...now them...lol. Will try them this wknd...maybe give them a quick pickling.

@hummerbum, These radishes grew quite long. Will you use the leaves for anything?
