    Three rows of green beans went into the garden this morning. All that sifted compost went in, too. Oh goody, now I get to shovel and sift compost again!

    I have started a clean up that didn't get done last Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter because of the heat and or really cold temps. Today I can hardly move, certainly not bend over, but maybe I can sit on a large piece of cardboard and scoot myself around to get some plants in the ground. Think I will be working in back garden since it's not going to be a pretty picture but maybe it will work.

    I transplanted tomatoes and onions and built up a new tunnel.

    Hummer, make sure it is straw and not hay. Straw is totally dry and seedless, hay still has viable seeds.

    I have collected so many plants, bulbs and packets of seeds waiting their turn to be planted and fulfill their destiny. Really have to get out and help them get on with their lives now that our long range weather forecast does not include any temps under 50deg. Of course that does not mean we won't have winter weather, may years in the past we have had freezes, ice and/or snow in late March -early April. Also does not include much hope for rain either so I need to make sure I have non-holely hoses at the ready.

    After an intensive search, I finally located six-packs of the tomatoes I wanted. Unfortunately, the store had only one six-pack of Romas, so I snagged that and got a six-pack of Celebrities. The manager assured me they would be getting more plants next week, and he's putting a pack of Romas back for me.
    Now, if I can just find Cal Wonder bell pepper plants. Next year I'll be smarter and start my own again. I got lazy this year.

    I have chocolate cherry and sun gold toms on order, should be here in about mid-april. I am the only one who eats them and I love eating them as I wander around the garden. Very few actually make it to the kitchen....kind of like the asparagus I planted. Speaking of which, I had given up on one pot, moved it to a different location and the other day found shoots coming up....they tasted very good!!!

    Checked my seed trays... I've got tomato seedlings! San Marzano and Roma seeds have come out after a week. Hopefully my peppers will follow suit.

    Got my small veggie bed ready for the toms....I have to treat the beans with an inoculate then put them in the ground and some pots at the base of some trellis. I forgot I have to get the cucumber bed ready to plant. I want to make pickles (and from the hints coming my way from hubby and kids they want me to make pickles too). I have seeds for the regular straight eight cuckes and some for Mexican Sour Gherkins too.

    Toni, my Tulip foliage are out but not the flowers as yet.
    I used to have this Iris, no idea what happened it, not seen such a color since. I believe it was a ‘one off’ in a DIY store about four years ago.

    Been clearing away winter weeds, picking out a new small garden spot thinking of using cardboard to help get the spot ready. A lol excited for Spring gardening A lot of work but always so rewarding and just so good for the soul.

    Got all of my seeds in and have seedlings for tomatoes and peppers, but still waiting on cucumbers and bok choy.
