First Monarch of 2019

    We had our first Monarch visit today. The local paper had an article saying that Texas would have more Monarchs than usual. Okay by me! We've had Admirals, Mexican White Clouds, and Sulphurs this month, but the Monarchs are very welcome, too!

    No butterflies here but I am beginning to see bumble bees around the garden. I guess spring is starting to show her face at last.
