Alien Invader in my Rubber Tree!

    HI all, in less than a week this cropped up in my indoor Rubber Tree pot.

    Before I rip it out, what is it? If it's something good, perhaps I'll keep in another pot. Hint: it has a very tubular stem. Thx!

    That looks to me a bit like Japanese knotweed and if so it is a terrible pest.

    Thx, I'll pull it right away. One thing is for sure, it grows faster than Segori Weaver's baby in Aliens.

    Same here. I just spent 600$ on a BlueAir 280i Air Purifier. Hopefully that will help keep the plants clean, as well as my lungs.
