The top one looks like a Longhorn Garden beetle. There are many of them. Have a look at a few of my beetles pictures here Just give it a click

I have the answer for the bee. It's a carpenter bee..not good for soft wood or a home built with untreated/unpainted wood, but good as a pollinator..googled black spot on bee...lmbo!! Haven't found that beetle yet...i'll just ask the county extension or pest control guy on Friday when they put a barrier around the house. Mannnnnn, we have some seriously weird looking spiders & bugs in this area. I believe most have mutated from that drainage ditch behind us. We've seen albino spiders, spiders crossed between this and that and just plain ugly out there. Don't know how long I can keep the pesticides out of the garden here. Can't have those come into the house. There was a spider so big at the bottom of the pool Sunday when i got home, that i thought it was a leaf and paid no attention to it at that point. But then as i walked around the pool to look at plants, I could tell that that was no leaf and I started screaming to myself....THAT THING WAS HUGE and you could tell that from it laying on the bottom!!!!! i couldn't help but scream as i was bringing it to the surface with the skimmer to smash it just in case it wasn't already dead. My son was on Duo and laughing at me as i screamed and grimaced...then i put it up to the phone on the skimmer and he said oh my God that thing is huge. I kid you not, that spider was the size of a baby tarantula. It looked really scary. Will never tell hubby because he will not get in the pool. His fear of spiders is through the roof. Yep I do the spider killing around the house (city boy). Notice that i didn't mention snakes yet!!!

Number two looks a lot like the Cinnabar moth caterpillars we get here in Scotland. Do you get those moths where you are?

Spiders might be ugly but they do eat bugs. They have their place in this world.
