The wisteria is pretty much at the top of its game. The recent cold weather has allowed the blooms to stay with us a bit longer. You could say that I am well-chuffed with the mature display. It has taken several years to get it this far.
Needs to be dubbed, Wisteria Gone Wild". That is beautiful..now I struggle with mine...Not gone wild at all...I wish it would...but only in my dreams..LOL
Ha ha ha...Ware, Mine really isn't "wild"--it is doing exactly what I want it to. I have pruned and tied-in for several years through its puberty now, and finally it has decided to become an adult. I need to do a bit more work on the portion above the sitting area, but I am almost there.
Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful!! How I'd love to have wisteria growing over the arch I have in the garden.
Gorgeous! My wisteria vine is bringing down my cedar arbor. As soon as the birds nest is empty I will build a new one.
Thanks Eileen, Netty and Odif for your nice words. Those Wisteria's can get out of hand if not kept in line, can't they?
Ta Cayu-- It is comfy and we can sit inside and observe the birds from the low window or sit outside with tea 'n bikkies. We designed the garden house and found a company to build it. We have been very happy with it.
Oh @Sjoerd I just adore the wisteria such a stunning plant and yours looks lovely gathered together ...I've seen some houses with it all across their homes and it's just one plant that does stand out
Yeah, I like it too. I have seen those types of houses with it draped all across the front. It makes me wish that I had a detached house sometimes. We watch "Escape to the Country" each day and that is a common feature to see.
Hi Sjoerd it does look stunning across houses especially the older ones and Escape to the country is put on here daily just after one
I think the show comes on here around 4 your time. I am not sure, as I have typed in for it to be automatically recorded each day. We are usually not at home when it airs..we be at the lottie, innit.
