I picked this up a few years ago along with other succulents when our neighbors were moving. It did not have any label on it and I ignored it as it wasn't the prettiest of the bunch (I know, I know.. book covers etc.). It's been surviving despite, or because of my neglect but hasn't grown much. As you can see it probably needed water badly at some point and grew roots on one of the... stems? leaves? I was looking through another website and saw a picture of dragon fruit plant which looked similar and thought, maybe I've been a complete idiot for 5 years. So, what is it? What do I do with it? Should I repot it? Feed it? Build an altar and sacrifice some lizards at midnight under the full moon? Help!
I have had cactus like this before I think !! Looks to be overgrown !! Bottom is triangular in shape isn`t it ?
May be Euphorbia ! If so,, read about it before doing anything to the plant ! The sap is toxic and is a skin/eye irritant that can be dangerous to get on the skin eyes ect ! But there are many triangular shaped plants so its best to ask someone that knows and can see the plant !! I would not even want to make a guess from a pic ! Like Toni suggested may be Dragon Fruit but I would not know how to tell the difference !
aah, interesting. I tried googling euphorbia, and it doesn't look like any of the images that came up. It is a small pot, so I will see if I can take it to our local nursery (carefully) and have them ID it for me. Thank you!
