    So be it..
Cats are clean in their own garden but not in others...:smt089:smt089
I even believe they should be the under the same rules as dogs. Licensed and on a lead.
Don’t be upset: cats are forever leaving dirt parcels in my garden.

That is more a problem of an irresponsible cat owner, especially in the city.

I'm not fan of cats pooping in my gardens. Neighbours have them and do let them out to roam about nights. Luckily (for me as a gardener) we now have a humungous raccoon moved into the area. He is a BIG one and also strolls around at night from a wooded area in front of my house to another wood area + swamp behind my house. Seeing him has caused several of the neighbours to now house their cats 24/7 IN their own homes! So I'm cheering the Raccoon on! ;) Way to go Big guy - just keep strolling the road :)

We have had several strays living in our backyard off and on over the years and many have been caught by me and sent to the city animal shelter to find a home some place other than my yard. Called animal control so many times over the years that they recognized my voice. I know there are at least two more out there but since the backyard no longer smells like a litter box I am leaving them alone. Most of our neighbors get them as kittens then when they get older they chase them out the door and leave them to feed themselves. Good to a degree, we have not had any mouse or rat problems in a few years but I have noticed that the population of red Texas Spiny Lizards in my yard has dwindled to almost none.

One of those strays, Spooky, came into our house and became ours for 10 months but he had been so mistreated before he found my back yard that he died from his injuries. https://www.gardenstew.com/threads/houston-we-have-achieved-a-house-cat.34001/

toni i totally agree, i love cats always have done but i hate seeing them under fed plus knowing who the owner is  it's got to the stage where my windows can hardly be open with one trying to get in but they carry fleas and constantly scratching.
