    Oh.

Okay, how about an interesting collection of something...various sizes & heights to take up the space. No wait, anything you put there will have to be dusted.

Okay, how about a terrarium? Maybe with ivy growing in pots outside the terrarium, spilling down the wall? You'd have to exchange that bulb for a grow lite bulb.

I grew up on a construction site ! That is the most unbalanced area I have seen in a long time !
I would guess the builder had a major screw up and this was his way to fix it ! In the mean time a nice rubber plant would fill in without much care and would have the simple lines you like ! Just wipe the leaves and mist occasionally !

Perhaps several custom glass shelves. These would allow the light to filter down and
you could display smaller works. Or, not sure where you are located, but a larger piece of sculpture from a local artist that reflects the culture in your area?

Here's what we decided upon. THANKS for all the ideas submitted.
My wife says the house looks a bit like a museum. I said that makes her one hot mummy :)

(Footnote: The 4 photos are of international borders which we have visited. I made them B&W except for key elements which were left colored using Photoshop software)

I like it. Fills up the space. I like the similarity between the photos too. And the round globe echoes the rounded shelf. Looks good.
