I found 3 different plants (could possibly be tree's) growing in the pots on the balcony (have replanted in separate pots), does anyone have an idea what they could be?

They do look like trees, I am not sure what types though.

Hi, North Germany. I think the one to the right could be Norway maple and the first two possibly Birch or Beech

Number 3 is a maple of some sort. I don‘t think the first two are beech or birch because the leaves are not shiny enough. The second one could be an aspen „zitterpappel“ To Be sure, the leaf stalk is not round but flattened.

From left to right, it looks like elm, mulberry, and either red or sugar maple. Best bet if you want to grow them is replant them outside with plenty of space around each one.

Elm leaves are smoother shinier and the veins are straight lines. The leaf is larger on one side just where it joins the stem like it appears in the picture. It is not an elm of the type that grows here.

The center one looks like a Begonia leaf.

Dan in the photo it is hard to distinguish the leaf form. I take it these three plants have self sowed on your balcony? If so, I would think the likelihood is that they are all seedlings of the same tree. Could that possibly be? And what trees are nearby that could have bestowed their seeds in your direction? Take a gander outside and you may be able to identify them.

That was my hunch to Carolyn but the photo is not very clear.
